The party every 7 year old should have!

Ok, I'm very embarrassed to say that before this year, Hailey has never had a real birthday party. You know with friends, guest, big fancy cakes, a theme.. We fixed that this year. I did what every mom should do (for her own sanity) and hired it out. This year we did Hailey's birthday party at a place here in Virginia called "You're A Star" and that is what Hailey was. We had 7 girls, including Hailey and her older sister Kate, and this place went to town making them all feel like queens. First they started by getting the girls changed into there robes, because every good spa puts you in a very nice, fluffy robe. They then sat the girls in front of there own individual mirror and helped them apply a mud mask. Some of the girls were pro's at this already, good job moms! They then went and relaxed in a reclining chair (sun chair) and were serve a refreshing, cold glass of lemonade with a straw. Of course that would not be complete without the little paper umbrella! While sipping on there lemonade, they were offered a selection of magazines to browse. The girls quickly grew tired and were ready to rest there eyes at which time the staff was quick to supply cool slices of cucumbers to help reduce the puffiness.

As the girls relaxed with the cucumbers, the staff came around and painted there nails. I believe all girls with the exception of one chose a bright blue polish. That's Hot! After the relaxing was over, Hailey removed her cucumbers and proptly ate them. Funniest thing ever. Now the girls were re-energized and ready for some action. At this time they went back to the table, removed the mud mask and were able to see how this company bottled there signature lotions along with being able to come up with a bottle of there very own creation. By the time the girls returned from this it was time for the cake and ice cream and as you could imagine the girls were famished but were very lady-like as they ate. It was almost time to wrap up this wonderful evening but not before Hailey opened her presents.

Each girl ended the evening by taking home a manicure set from "You're A Star" along with some other little goodies. But who needs the goodies when you are surrounded by your friends!
